China represents huge business opportunities for every ambitious company in the Industrial markets. The Chinese market is growing at an incredible pace, however, one area of concern that international clients have is the quality of the products produced. Often after delivery from the manufacturer in China it is found that the quality of the materials and products does not meet the client's requirements and specifications. To manage this risk, Non-Destructive Testing inspections are performed during and after the manufacture of the products, however these tests and inspections are usually carried out by inspectors who have received little or inadequate training and are sometimes unqualified. SGS now offers internationally recognized training and certification services in Non-Destructive Testing in China. The training and examinations are in accordance with European, International and American standards like EN473 / ISO 9712 / ASNT, with a particular focus on the extensive training syllabus for all basic NDT methods and will offer Personnel Certification (PCN) issued by the British Institute of NDT The need for high quality NDT services in China is growing rapidly and this new service should be attractive to all companies and institutions doing business in China. The aim is to make EN 473 certified personnel available in China to improve the reputation of this vast market and to help China become number one in the world in this respect.
